Discover all the uniqueness of Namibia. The world’s oldest desert, Sossusvlei, is one of the highlights of this 7 day Namibia tour. Located between the desert and the ocean, Swakopmund is an excellent place to visit. You can get a glimpse of prehistoric times while driving along the Skeleton Coast. You will enjoy the park’s breathtaking wildlife and beautiful landscapes during your safari in Etosha National Park. Our local, experienced guides will be able to show you what makes Namibia unique while guiding you through all of this.
Your day starts off with excitement as you look forward to the adventure ahead. With a warm smile, your guide greets you as you set out on the road, winding through the hilly landscape south of Windhoek. It is possible to traverse one of the beautiful passes leading to the Namib-Naukluft region if time permits. If you wish, you can enjoy a delicious, local apple pie at lunch in Solitaire, a tiny settlement. You will be staying at the Elegant Desert Camp for the next two nights. Enjoy a sundowner drive in the late afternoon or explore the area on foot (Optional). You will be served a three-course dinner in the evening.

Those who wake up early in Namibia are rewarded. A secluded dune, where you can watch the sun light up the desert in the early morning sun, awaits you once you arrive in Namib-Naukluft Park. A sight like this is unlikely to be forgotten anytime soon. Leaving the dunes after breakfast, you travel to Deadvlei and Sossusvlei. Your vehicle and guide are confident about completing the last section of track that can only be accomplished by 4X4 vehicles. Deadvlei’s surreal beauty will captivate you once you enter. In the distance one can see dried camelthorn trees and dune backdrops, creating a breathtaking sight. In addition, you can wonder through the gorge made by the Tsauchab River millions of years ago in the Sesriem canyon. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend at your leisure after this eventful day. Dinner can be savoured under the Namibian night sky.

We serve you a delicious breakfast before taking you through the Gaub and Kuiseb canyons. You might see rivers flowing on your way across the inland due to recent rains, but they normally run dry. A welcome sight emerges on the horizon at the end of your journey through the canyons. The Atlantic Ocean lies before you. The route includes a stop at the Walvis Bay lagoon where you can observe flamingos up close. The next stop is Swakopmund, as you wind your way through the desert and the ocean. After your arrival in Swakopmund, you can spend the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure. The area offers a lot to see and do, so be sure to speak with your guide. Hopefully you have developed an appetite after breathing in the fresh ocean air, since the town also offers a number of good restaurants. A night is spent at the Organic Stay Guesthouse.

Skeleton Coast is the first stop on your day. A number of shipwrecks run aground near the coast can be observed along the way. You will soon reach Cape Cross, home to an enormous seal colony and the Cape Cross. The Skeleton Coast is called “The Land God Made in Anger”. This strangely beautiful land is desolate and hostile at the same time. In order to reach your camp for the night, the Malansrus Tented Camp, you leave the coastal road as you approach Torra Bay.

You can choose from a variety of sights and experiences in Damaraland. There is the possibility of visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein. The area was inhabited between 6000 and 2000 years ago by hunter-gatherers who engraved rock-engravings. Your guide can show you these places away from the main tourist crowds. The Petrified Forest is a good place to visit if you are interested in geology. A fossilised tree trunk estimated to be 260 million years old is found here, with information on how it got there. Petrified Forest also boasts a fascinating and unique plant called Welwitschia mirabilis, which can live up to 1,000 years. Etosha Safari Camp is the next accommodation on your Namibia tour, just south of the Etosha entrance gate. The safari game drive begins as soon as you enter the park. During the afternoon, you explore the park and observe the wildlife. A relaxing supper awaits you as the sun sets.

To make the most of your safari in Etosha National Park, you should rise early and get started early. During the day, you can explore Etosha’s many inhabitants and learn about its immense size. Animals such as elephants, lions, wildebeests, giraffes, hyenas, and various antelope species may be encountered. It’s possible to see cheetahs or leopards if you’re lucky. Despite the fact that they can be difficult to spot, your guide will be able to make you aware of animals that you didn’t even know existed. Etosha Pan in Oshiwambo, which means ‘Great White Place,’ might also be worth a visit. As the pan extends into the horizon, it is easy to understand why. There is a deafening silence. A delicious dinner awaits you at Etosha Safari Camp after plenty of game viewing and new impressions.

It is not always guaranteed that you will witness the greatest show on earth—but timing and route flexibility are key. Many budget tours position themselves strategically in migration zones like the Western Corridor or Mara River. Don’t expect luxury lodges, but you can still witness river crossings and massive herds from mobile camps or bush camps.
Yes. Malaria is present year-round in most parts of Madagascar, particularly in coastal, lowland, and rural areas. Risk is lower in the highlands (like Antananarivo), but overland routes often pass through higher-risk zones—so precautions are essential.
Expect robust custom-built overland trucks for long-haul travel, often with pop-up roofs and large windows for comfort and views. On game drives in tight terrain (e.g., Mana Pools), smaller 4×4 Land Cruisers or Land Rovers are used for better maneuverability
Yes! Zambia is one of Africa’s most peaceful nations. Stick to guided tours in parks, secure your valuables, and follow local advice for a smooth journey.
